Ecogenesis is working in Philippines as  an organization that aims to empower individuals and groups through education and training.

Mission: Care of the Earth and all that live in it…  A mutuality between the environment and the human community.

Vision: An Earth in its fullness is fullness of life for all… A nurtured environment, a healthy existence for all.

Ecogenesis was encouraged and enabled by Global Institute For Transformation (GIFT) to grow sweet potatoes given their contributions to addressing hunger and poverty, through propagation and the plant's dual crop of highly nutritious potatoes and edible leaves.

From an ecological perspective, Sweet Potatoes and Leaves have the lowest water footprint and highest nutritional content in both classes of pulses and vegetables.

GIFT received generous funding for this project from the Knights of Columbus Council 6626 in Tolland, CT, at St. Matthew Church.
